How does slim Hoodia work?

The appetite suppressant effects of slim Hoodia or slim hudia were first observed in 1937 by a Dutch anthropologist studying the primitive San Bushmen of the Kalahari Desert. It was noticed that the nomadic Bushmen, (who call it Xhoba) ate the stem of the Hoodia plant to stave off hunger during long hunting trips in the sparsely vegetated area. The active ingredient in "slim Hoodia" "hudia"is the appetite-suppressing molecule, P57, which is licensed to the British pharmaceutical company Phytopharm who are researching its potential as an anti-obesity drug.

Lose Fat during Thanksgiving with Bodyweight Training at Home

Once again we reach the holidays when we get together and stuff ourselves with delicious foodsand take a break from our job. Normally it’s an excuse we use to rationalize fattening up over the holidays but that just makes the upcoming New Year’s Resolution of losing weight that much harder. There is no reason to gain fat around the holidays if you just put some good preventative measures in place. Just by training at home a few days a week using bodyweight movements you can speed up your metabolism just enough to prevent fat from accumulating round your waistline.

You can get a full body workout from home without having to go to a aerobics studio burning hundreds of calories in quick 20 to 30 minute sessions.

Some superior exercises comprise:

Y-Squats
Feet Elevated Push ups
Lunges
Jumping Squats
Reverse Style Lunges
Jumping Jacks
Mountain Climbers
Side Planks and Planks

You can do circuit training style workouts going from 1 movement to the next. Not only will this work your muscles but it will offer a high intensity interval style cardiovascular workout which will burn up more fat than repetitive slow workouts on a treadmill or stationary bike.

To get an extra fat preventing boost do these sessions within an 1 or 2 hours before high calorie meals. The workout will drain the glycogen stores in your muscle tissue and your muscles are very open to carbohydrates following a workout. Rather than storing a large amount of those additional calories as fat your muscles will soak them up like a sponge replacing the lost glycogen from the workout. This is a very great strategy to use throughout the Thanksgiving and Christmas season.

Prevent Weight Gain by adhering to a few workouts a week for the long run and you will never have to ever worry about losing fat ever again. Once you get down to your end weight it is so much easier to just maintain with trouble-free bodyweight workouts if you don’t have time for the sports club.
